My All-Time Favorite Beauty Products

Sharing is caring!

I love hearing about what all of my friends are using so I thought I would share my all-time favorite beauty products! I definitely go through phases with my beauty products. I’ll use something for a few months, love it, but then decide to try something new. I’m not sharing those! I’m sharing my tried and true beauty products that I have been using over and over again.

Skinerals Self Tanner

I love self-tanners, but most of them are full of toxic ingredients. It’s not much better than too much sun exposure! I LOVE that this self-tanner isn’t full of junk. It doesn’t make me streaky or orange at all. It’s the perfect shade of tan.

Helpful tips: Before I apply it, I put lotion or coconut oil on my hands and any dry areas of skin. I work it into my cuticles and spread it lightly across my knees, elbows, and the tops of my feet. This way my skin absorbs the lotion or oil before it absorbs the self-tanner, so those patches of skin don’t end up darker than the rest of my body. I also use this Self Tanning Mitt to prevent my hand from turning orange as I’m rubbing it in. I also have my husband get my back but you can also use this back applicator.

Acure Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo and coffee. Hashtag momlife, right?? In all seriousness, I swear by this dry shampoo. It’s organic, so I’m not absorbing gross chemicals into my scalp. It also works sooo well and is a FANTASTIC price compared to other dry shampoos of the same quality.

Helpful tips: This product resembles baby powder (only it works way better haha!): you sprinkle it onto your scalp and rub it in. You only need a tiny bit! I sprinkle it in, flip my head over and rub it into my scalp, and sometimes give it a little brush. This works really well on my light blonde hair but they also have one for brunettes!

ALSO! Dry shampoo works best if you use it the night before. So if you know you aren’t going to wash your hair in the morning, apply it to your roots before bed. I never do this because I always plan on washing my hair and then just… don’t.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C Night Serum

Once I discovered this night serum, I never looked back. It has become one of my most favorite beauty products, ever. It is definitely pricey, BUT I purchased my first bottle in March of 2017 and I still haven’t run out 15 months later. Granted, I don’t use it every night like you’re supposed to because sometimes I’m just too tired to wash my face and apply it… but I probably use it 5 times a week. It makes my skin so glowy and smooth and more comfortable not wearing makeup every day.

Vitamin C Serum

I’ve only been using this product for a few months and I can already tell I’m going to be using it forever and ever. It has drastically improved the age spots on my skin. The best part is that it’s so affordable! It’s just under $20 but goes on lightning deals on Amazon quite often. It is definitely worth it full-price though! I use it as a daytime serum underneath my moisturizer.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

If I’ve neglected my skin for a few days (I knowwww I shouldn’t but sometimes sleep is more important!) I just slather this mask all over my face and it gently exfoliates it. It makes my skin SO SOFT. I try to remember to use it 1-2 times a week and I notice a huge difference when I use it consistently.

PUR Mascara

This is my favorite mascara. It makes my lashes SO full and thick and long.

Helpful tips: a little goes a long way with this so definitely brush all excess product off of the wand before applying. If you have too much on your wand it can get clumpy.

Waleda Skin Food

I always have this in my purse. I have dry hands all the time, in every season, and this hand cream helps me to not have old lady hands.

Zoya Nail Polish

I love this brand of nail polish because it is one of the less toxic brands out there. It still lasts a long time and they have super cute colors.

Collagen Peptides

I fully believe that beauty starts from the inside and that what you put into your body matters. Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies. Ingesting collagen peptides improves the health of your skin, nails, and hair. It also can help with joint pain, but this post is all about beauty so I won’t go into that.

Helpful tips: Collagen is a clear, flavorless powder. You can add it to juice, milk, smoothies, coffee, etc. I make a protein smoothie with this plant-based protein powder for breakfast every morning and simply add a scoop of collagen. You can’t taste, see, or smell it at all.
